INTRODUCTION

Cargobase is a Singapore-headquartered logistics software company, with offices in New York, Amsterdam, and New Delhi.

Incorporated in 2013, the company was founded with the vision to improve the collaboration between shippers and logistics services providers through a user-friendly software solution.

Over the years, Cargobase has grown and developed their SaaS solution into a modular Transport Management System (TMS). We currently serve SMEs to Fortune 500 companies in over 70 different countries.

OUR COMPANY MILESTONES

2013 - COMPANY FOUNDED

Frustrated by the lack of automation in the spot-buy freight industry, the founders started Cargobase in Singapore with two Fortune 500 companies as launching customers.
2016 - EXPANDING PRODUCT OFFERING

Deep customer relationships enabled us to incorporate feedback into our ongoing product development.

Cargobase’s capabilities are expanding from a spot-buy freight procurement tool to include freight execution, tracking and invoice audit.
2017 - ESTABLISHED USA OFFICE

We opened our first offices in Phoenix and Detroit to cater to growing demand from North American customers, specifically within the automotive and semiconductor sectors.
2019 - STRONG GROWTH AND CUSTOMER RECOGNITION

Cargobase receives its first Fortune 500 supplier award, and now serves customers in over 10 industries.

We are by now the market-leading platform for procuring and managing spot-buy freight. In addition, we are seeing increasing adoption of the platform as a TMS for contracted freight.
2020 - ESTABLISHED AMSTERDAM OFFICE

We opened our office in the Netherlands to cater to customers in Europe.

COVID-19 and the subsequent disruptions to supply chains led to tremendous interest in software solutions to navigate the procurement and execution of freight.

Cargobase experienced triple digit revenue growth in 2020.
2021 - ONWARDS AND UPWARDS

Team size has doubled in the first 6 months of the year, along with an additional office in Singapore as a technology development hub.

Reflecting the continuous product development and adoption in the market, Cargobase positions itself as an end-to-end modular Transportation Management System for all freight modes, within both spot-buy and contracted freight.

Logistics is one of the last industries to benefit from cloud-computing and automation. Coming from the operations side of a time-critical logistics provider, I experienced first-hand the pain of manual processes including countless phone calls, emails and spreadsheets to manage shipments.

We built Cargobase to right this wrong: a TMS must be user intuitive, easy to implement and simply work for the organization!
